Many years ago, I sat in on a lecture from a representative of the U. S. Olympic Soccer Association.  He was addressing volunteer "father-coaches" at the Boca Raton Florida YOUTH Soccer League. This was the 1980's. Few fathers knew anything about soccer, and in fact the US Olympic Soccer Teams were just beginning to develop.  I don't remember much about the discussed rules and coaching suggestions except for this one definition.:  " In dealing with grade school and middle school children, the most successful coach is the one that has the most players return for the next season."  This soccer representative's logic was sound. Many times, TRUE TALENT does not reveal itself until the high school years. To develop a National Program we need to keep kids interested in the sports until a time when they can truly find and develop their talent. If, as a child, the coaching is "win at all costs" too many potentially great athletes will be discouraged, unhappy, and lost from a successful sports career.

Amanda's coaching style reminds me of this definition of  "The most successful coach".   Amanda is an excellent teacher and ARCHERY coach.

One of the true assets to the ARCHERY enthusiasts in North Central Florida. is Jake Kaminski. Being a real gentleman, a most loving husband, and a disciplined athlete - Jake is an outstanding role model for our student archers.

The National Training System (NTS) is the basic educational tool for US Archers. In his test for LEVEL 4 coach, Jake attained the HIGHEST score ever on the NTS.

Jake has proven himself to be expert in all aspects of archery. From proper shooting form to detailed bow tuning to mindset mental discipline - Jake is able to teach it all.
